New Car Seat Regulations in Switzerland

As of 1 April 2010, children under 12 years of age who are less than 150cm tall must sit in a childs car seat. (The requirement used to be 7 years of age).

The BCT Bumps and Bruises group is a parent and baby group for toddlers aged 1 to 3 years

If your child is under a year but already crawling or maybe even walking really well, then this may be the group for you. Equally if your child is over a year but not yet walking you may find that bumps and babes is a better group. You are also welcome to also attend both playgroups!

Bumps and Bruises meets weekly on a Thursday from 11:00 to 13:30 at the BURG. In the summer we also meet at Solitude Park if the weather is OK. We have some free play time, some circle time with singing and musical instruments, the children can then eat their lunch (please bring a packed lunch if your child wants to eat) and then tidy up time before leaving. Please bring indoor shoes if you need them (no outdoor shoes or buggies are allowed in the play room).

Contact us to be added to the  bumps and bruises group list and receive updates and information on the group. Non members are welcome to come to one or two group meetings before becoming members but in general we expect regular participants to become members and pay their BCT membership fee.
