Having a baby this summer? Antenatal classes are now enrolling read on to register for a class.

The BCT antenatal teacher, Susie Atkinson, works with us to offer English language antenatal classes to women in the Basel region.

Courses typically cover all aspects of late pregnancy, labour and the early days of parenting as well as making you more familiar with how things work in Basel. There are also refresher courses for those who have already had children.

We recommend that you contact us to register for an antenatal class when you are around 20 to 24 weeks pregnant – this then gives plenty of time for scheduling classes. The classes are usually either 8 two-hour evening sessions, finishing around three weeks before the due date (just in case!) or a series of four-hour afternoon sessions, depending on what suits everyone.
