New Car Seat Regulations in Switzerland

As of 1 April 2010, children under 12 years of age who are less than 150cm tall must sit in a childs car seat. (The requirement used to be 7 years of age).

Our next event will be the Raising a Family in Basel day at the Dreirosenhalle in Basel, from 2pm until 7pm on Saturday 24th April. More details to follow, but there will be information on all the activities and offerings for families in Basel, a workshop session and fun and food for everyone.

Other things still in the planning for 2010 are (dates not yet fixed):

• A flea market for childrens clothes, toys and other items in May
• A cupcake festival in June
• Two education events: on the public and private school systems in August / September.
