At the core of the BCT are all the groups we organise to get you in touch with other parents in the Basel area.

We run playgroups for parents together with their children, social nights out for parents, common interest groups and groups that aim to bring together people who live close to each other.

Our groups are for BCT members, but you are welcome to come along once or twice to try us out before joining.

Parent & Child Playgroups

These are roughly age divided - there are no strict rules so do choose the one that suits you most - and if you have more than one child you are welcome to bring older/younger siblings to all our playgroups.

0 - 1 year olds (non mobile babies) and expectant parents - Bumps and Babes

1 - 3 year olds (toddlers) - Bumps and Bruises

3 - 6 year olds (pre-schoolers) - Beyond Bruises

Common Interest Groups

For mums and mums-to-be who are also working there is our Working Mums & Bumps group

Attachment parenting is for those who are interested in this type of parenting some common themes being baby-wearing, co-sleeping, extended breastfeeding.

Neighbourhood Connections is there to put you in touch with people who live close to you - we have groups in most of the main Basel residential areas.

For those who have just become parents the Early Days Group runs monthly during our Bumps and Babes playgroup.

Dads nights out is on the first Thursday of the month
